Rightmove’s December 2025 House Price Index shows a larger-than-usual seasonal price dip, driven by Budget uncertainty and a quieter second half of the year. However, improving mortgage affordability, resilient sales activity, and early signs of a post-Christmas rebound point to a more stable and active housing market as we move into 2026.
